Wanda is a Professional Bass Angler home based
out of the Table Rock, Missouri area, A dedicated wife, Wanda
and her husband Russ work hard towards Wanda's professional bass
career. Wanda competes on the Women's BASSMASTER Tour as well as
many local and regional events.
Wanda is very dedicated to the Conservation of this sport. She
works extremely hard at bringing awareness to the conservation
of our resources. She is very committed to the promotion
of our sport to further enhance the great outdoors for future
generations. Wanda Malmsbury is involved in many promotional
events. It is this dedication to the sport and her
sponsors that
makes Wanda the one to have on board for extreme promotions. Traveling throughout the United
States and covering at least 30,000 miles within a
10 month period
has given me a new outlook of life. In a sense we
are Athletes and make many sacrifices to fish.
Being able to multitask and having to constantly
make decisions on water that I have never been on
has proven to me that I can make the correct
decisions and be confident at the same time. I also
incorporate this philosophy when I represent a
sponsor. Questions that come to mind are: Is this a
good fit with a sponsor, am I providing a quality of
service that I promised my sponsor and knowing
that my sponsor and myself represent not only the products we promote but know that we help the
general public with a great service and product.
This is a great source of accomplishment in my
eyes. Charity and community evolvement is very close
to my heart. With this in mind, attending
trade show, doing grand openings, and taking
children on the boat and teaching them water safety
is
my #1 goal.
OBJECTIVE
To fulfill a
lifelong dream of obtaining the highest
possible level in the professional bass
fishing industry. My goal is to establish relationships with various sponsors
nationally so I can fulfill my dream to
become one of the first women to be invited
to fish with the men whose tournament trail
is known as the Bassmaster Elite. I was very
proud to finish the first year on the
professional side for the Woman Bassmaster
Circuit in the top 50. I enjoy finding big
fish. Although not being familiar
with all the bodies of water throughout the
United States it can be a challenge. In 2005
I caught
a 10LB 6 oz. fish at El Salto, Mexico that
was weighed on a verifiable scale. I knew at
this point
I was on my way to fulfilling my dream to
become a professional angler.
Qualifications
Having worked for 30 years and having
experience as a Loan officer, Job placement
Director, Admissions Coordinator, Office Manager and a Park Ranger has enabled me to
be a great spokesperson and provide a
company with quality representation. I am energetic and highly motivated and know how
to assist a company on maximizing their
return on investment in me. I have traveled
throughout the United States promoting
B.A.S.S, attending boat shows representing
Bill's Marine, and participating in
autograph signing booths at our televised
weigh-ins.
